I have just been rung by SQUIRES KITCHEN 4/3/10 saying tickets are just about sold out Friday and Saturday. The only day with tickets is Sunday and they are recommending people buy tickets before attending...
It is possible that afternoon entry FRI/SAT might be possible after some people leave but they cannot promise this. They are really concerned that people don't have any wasted journeys and trying to get this message out as much as possible.
§ Spring Sparkle = Saturday 6th March - THIS SATURDAY Chris is arranging the third day of sugarcraft demonstrations. It will be held between 11am to 6pm at the Harefield Baptist Church, Rickmansworth Road, Harefield, UB9 6JX. Sue Rudge will be modelling her unique style of an Easter Bunny, Kathryn Kelly is demonstrating Pastillage cards and Robert Haynes will be demonstrating sugar flowers. He is the new kid on the block so if you want to check him out before booking him to demo here's your chance. You won't be disappointed all demonstrators have a great style. Second hand & new tools and equipment on sale. Free raffle, refreshments provided but you need to bring your lunch, tickets £9. Arrangements can be made to be picked up from Central, Metropolitan, Piccadilly underground and the BR route from Marylebone if using public transport. Emails will be passed on to Chris.
§ Region 8 meeting Sat 20th March at Runnymede branch, The New Haw & Woodham Community Centre, Woodham Lane, New Haw, Addlestone, Surrey KT15 3ND. 1030 for 11am Members welcome as well as branch representatives. Hear the news first hand, teas, coffees and cakes provided, bring you own lunch. We will be seeking approval for the competition schedule so if this interests you please come and have your say.
Brighton Exhibition 7th May 2011 Once the schedule is approved then it will go onto the website and also be available as requested. Entry programmes will not be on sale until 2011.
CYGNETS - we would love to have some cygnets work brought to this meeting so that we can exhibit it at the Ardingly show. Also any adults that wish to have their vetting done if you bring your paperwork to this meeting then Jackie Blackwell will sort this out for you.

§ Spring Garden & Leisure Show, Ardingly, Sussex
2nd and 3rd May. See the Arun and Southdown exhibition tables and London's Cygnet's work plus other cygnets work. Plus a table of pieces by invitation. Come and see us at the BSG stand where we hope to repeat having well known authors demonstrating at this venue. If we can secure an extra table there may even be children's hands on.

§ BSG & Salon Culinaire 27th & 28th April 2010
The NECTA Salon Culinaire 2010 and Trade show have asked the BSG to come in with them for the first time in the North East of England. The BSG team will be organising a sugarcraft competiton and display area at the Hilton Hotel in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The schedule is being worked on but will include Flowers, Modelling, Sugarpasted Cake, Plaque and Sculpted cake. Contact via National office or via our contact form to be forwarded to them.

Don't panic and watch this space as we will be advising you how WE as a region can get accredited in the very near future. We would encourage Cygnet leaders to make contact prior to our March regional meeting.
