CHILDRENS DIVISION
A child may enter any class for which they are eligible, i.e. an 8 year old may enter the Minor, Junior or Teen category. However, children are limited to winning 3 gold awards in any one class. Once 3 gold awards have been achieved in one category, the child must then move up to the next level if they wish to continue competing. Any child winning 3 gold awards in the Teens class may then enter the Novice class at adult level.
All groups are up to and including age shown at the date of the competitionu.

CD 1 Tots up to age 7 years
An animal(s) modelled in any edible medium. Artificial decorations allowed.
Exhibit to fit within a 9inch (23cm) square. All work to be done solely by the competitor. Age NOT NAME to be displayed by the exhibit.

 CD 2 Minor up to age 9 years
A cake drum/board coated in royal icing or sugarpaste decorated with the theme of a cartoon or children's TV hero using and edible medium. Artificial decorations allowed. Exhibit to fit within a 10 inch (25cm) square.
All work to be done solely by the competitor.
Age NOT NAME to be dispalyed by the exhibit.
