NOVICE DIVISION
This division was open to BSG members only
A novice is a beginner or someone new to a particular skill within the last 12 months and who has not won a Gold award in any one class at any BSG Competition. (Children's division excepted.) I.e. If any award for the novice miniature has been won, a competitor may not enter novice miniature again BUT can enter another class within the Novice Division. Cygnets are eligible to enter the Novice Division. Entry fee applicable.
ND 1 A Celebration Cake
A cake or dummy coated in royal icing or covered in sugarpaste with a celebration theme. Artificial decoration allowed. Exhibit to fit within a 12 inch (30cm) square.
