PUBLIC DIVISION


This division is open to the General Public as well as British Sugarcraft Guild members of all levels.
Judging of PD 1 and 2 will be in line with the current BSG guidelines.


 This Division is open to both the General Public and BSG members.

 PD 1 Single Tiered Wedding Cake
 A cake or dummy coated in royal icing or covered in sugarpaste suitable for a
 wedding. Artificial decoration allowed.
 Exhibit to fit within a 12 inch (30cm) square.
 PD 2 Floral Wedding Sprays
 Present two co-ordinating floral sprays which must include flowers and foliage suitable
 for a tiered wedding cake. ONLY edible paste, stamens, thread, wire and floristry
 tape allowed.
 Exhibit to be displayed on draped fabric and should fit within a 13 inch (33cm) square.

 PD 3 Charity Cake 
 A cake or dummy coated in royal icing or covered in sugarpaste to represent a
 registered charity. The charity must be clearly identifiable. The name and address of
 the charity must be provided at the time of entry. Artificial decoration allowed.
 Exhibit to fit within a 10 inch (25cm) square.

 Visitors to the exhibition will be the judges for this category.
 A contribution to the collection tin will entitle you to a ticket to vote for your
 favourite cake. The cake that gains the most votes wins and all proceeds will be
 donated to that charity. 
 As these cakes will not be judged to BSG Guidelines the only entry to recieve a  
 certificate and trophy will be the winner.
