Region 8 is based in the south east of the country and has Branches as far as the New Forest, Canterbury, Reading and Hillingdon. Region 8 are a very active region and our 27 Branches hold demonstrations, workshops and swap ideas, some Branches sell sugarcraft products at the meetings. All involve members who are interested in Sugarcraft from beginners right the way through to experts.

They are a friendly bunch and will be happy to offer you a cup of tea/coffee and biscuit during the evening. Some members don't make cakes they just come for the company and are interested in seeing other peoples skills demonstrated.
Our region also organises an exhibition every other year with our next exhibition being on 16th May 2015 at Brighton racecourse, an full update with results from our 2013 exhibition will be available shortly.
As a member of the BSG you will also receive a quarterly newsletter in magazine format from the Guild giving news on exhibitions, articles, photographs, advice and much more. If it is difficult for you to get to a meeting you could become an individual member, more details from the National Office.
Some branches have changed their venues so do check. The diary is currently waiting for a number of branches who are currently updating their programmes and we will update as soon as they arrive.
